Transaction based on privileged information - AMF penal proceeding against Francis Pelletier

Montréal – The Autorité des marchés financiers (“AMF”) has launched a penal proceeding against Francis Pelletier1, a former portfolio manager advising representative, for conducting a transaction in securities based on privileged information. Francis Pelletier faces a minimum fine of $5,000.
The Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF") is the regulatory and oversight body for Québec’s financial sector.
