A consumer
The AMF helps protect consumers through the enforcement of the
Acts and regulations
governing the Québec financial sector.
The AMF assists consumers with complaints and claims, while also
managing protection and compensation programs for financial
products and services within Québec.
Through its Information
Centre, the AMF responds to consumer requests for information
and receives consumer complaints regarding financial sector
participants. It also examines complaints, provides dispute
resolution services and, if applicable, directly compensates
consumers.
